Hello there! My name is Ryley Lenstrom and I am a Chicago-based graphic designer. I specialize in print design, marketing and advertising. In 2021, I graduated from DePaul University with a BFA in Graphic Design - Summa Cum Laude. Currently, I do graphic design for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
In my Freshmen year of High School I was introduced to graphic design through a Photoshop class. I instantly developed a passion for it and continued to take classes throughout my education. In college, I improved my skills greatly and learned of all the different paths graphic design can take you. This included publication design, advertising design, poster design, way-finding, motion graphics, and more.
I’d describe my design style as bold but simple. I like to use a lot of color, geometric shapes, sans-serif type, and strong grid layouts. My other biggest passion is film and I nearly minored in it. I like to incorporate that whenever I can, and I was able to for my capstone.
